The Bentley Federation uses Google Workspace therefore any whiteboard presentations will need to be completed using Google Slides and any digital worksheets for pupils will need to be completed using Google Docs.
Using Google Slides
Google Slides allows you to add videos, images, and audio to your presentation.
Test your links and multimedia: Make sure all the links and multimedia you plan to use are accessible and working properly.
Let us know of any websites you intend to use one week before your interview so that we can check them against our school's filtering system. This will give you time to find alternatives or workarounds if necessary.
You may add a resource page at the end of your presentation so that we can facilitate your lesson and communicate any change that may need to be made.
Share your slides: When you're done creating your presentation, share it with the email address you will have been given by us. This will ensure that your presentation is ready to go when it's time for your lesson.
Anyone with a gmail account can access google's suite of office tools - you can start a new set of slides by clicking HERE.
You should take the time to ask any questions regarding technology and resourcing before your interview date.
You will be presenting from a Chrome OS device and our pupils will have access to Chromebooks so please check your lesson and any materials you wish to use are compatible. You can deliver any digital worksheets using Google Classroom if you wish, however we will need all of these resources one week prior to your lesson.
